Hongkong is famous for many country trails and westerners splurge in Hongkong  nature and beauty.The famous Sai kung country park covers 18533 hectares of land and has the famous Mac Le hose trails which runs for 60 miles from east to west of the country.The trails has great valleys,mountains,steep paths and a recervoir with coastlines running parallel at some places.One can have great view of the sea and the ships as we pass through the kowloon mountains.

The trail starts from Pak Tam chung and crosses 10 different trails finally ending in Tuen Mun.We can see green hills butterflies,birds,flowers and foliage as we walk across in the beating sun and away from the noises and fumes of vehicular traffic.The sign posts are excellent and you will not get lost in the midway.

One can come across many lonely travellers trekking carrying their rucksacks with cooling glasses and hat to protect from scorching sun.You will come across occasional misty showers as the rain bearing clouds passes above in the sky at times.At few places you will come across monkeys and be careful.They tend to snatch any eatables in your hand or in the back.Keep a walking stick to shoo away the animals or take a pose with them.
